During this time different species of whales, including blue, beaked, humpback, sperm, killer, short-finned pilot and melon-headed whales can be seen, along with very large pods of dolphins.

Whale swim days start with a briefing on the day’s plan, safety, and responsible interaction guidelines. The boat sets out with everyone scanning the surface for signs of whales with the help of experienced spotters. Once whales are located, the crew positions the boat carefully and gives the go-ahead for small groups to enter the water and swim alongside, always keeping encounters respectful and non-intrusive. The day usually unfolds with several whale sightings and swim opportunities, interspersed with time on board to relax, enjoy snacks and refreshments, and take in the spectacular coastal scenery. The boat heads back to Dili around mid-afternoon.

As well as one more half day whale swim, there are 6 boat dives, 2 share dives and 1 nights dive with all transfers to dive site or boat included. Surface interval snacks are offered between dives.

Your trip ends with a transfer to Dili airport arriving in good time for your return flight.

• CHANGE FEES: Any changes requested after the initial deposit incur an AUD 250 change fee. Any changes resulting in a reduction of invoice value of more than 50% are considered a cancellation.

• CANCELLATION POLICY: All payments are non-refundable.

• INSURANCE: We strongly recommend all travelers have appropriate travel and dive insurance to protect them in the event of cancellation for unforeseen reasons. We are happy to provide a quote.
