The resort offers a range of day trips for non-diving days.
Visit Tangkoko National park, home to the world’s smallest nocturnal primate – the Tarsius Spectrum, endemic to Sulawesi. This tiny little creature measures around 15 cm from head to tail. This is an afternoon trip (after a double morning dive) and you will be back at the resort around 7pm in time for dinner. (USD 75 pp payable locally)
For the more adventurous, there is a whole day Minahasa Highland Tour where you leave the resort after breakfast at around 8am and you will be back in the resort in time for dinner. (USD 90 pp payable locally, it is greatly appreciated to leave a small donation for the local communities included in the visit.)
If you are not staying for the extension, your transfer will have you back at Manado Airport in good time for your flight.
Those joining the extension will be picked up by Bastianos dive boats and will enjoy a double morning dive as they make their way along the North Sulawesi Coastline to the Bangka resort perched along the picturesque Busa Bora Beach on the southwestern coast of Bangka Island.
Located on a pristine island north of Manado, Bangka offers a completely different diving experience - colourful coral reefs, crystal-clear water, and spectacular biodiversity.
There are more than 40 dive sites around Bangka Archipelago. The house reef is popular as one of the best dive sites in the area with a long reef, good for drift dives.
Drift over vibrant soft corals, reef pinnacles, and gentle sloping walls bursting with life. Expect schools of fish, turtles, reef sharks, and the occasional passing eagle ray.
Snorkel the house reef, relax by the infinity pool and bar, or enjoy a traditional massage to round off your North Sulawesi dive trip of a lifetime.
Your transfer will have you back at Manado Airport in good time for your onward flight.
