Join renowned underwater photographer Nigel Marsh and a small group of like-minded photographers to explore Milne Bay; one of Papua New Guinea's most diverse and rewarding dive destinations.
Based at the beautiful Tawali Dive Resort in Milne Bay, this trip combines spectacular coral reefs with some of the world's finest muck diving, offering endless opportunities for both wide-angle and macro photography. Milne Bay is famous for its incredible diversity. One dive might take you over vibrant coral gardens, dramatic sea fans and colourful reef fish, while the next has you searching black volcanic sand for frogfish, ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses, rhinopias, nudibranchs and countless other fascinating critters.
In fact, it was Papua New Guinea diving pioneer Bob Halstead who first coined the term muck diving to describe these seemingly featureless habitats that hide an extraordinary wealth of marine life.
Nigel's hosted trips bring together photographers who enjoy diving, sharing experiences and learning from one another. Throughout the trip Nigel is always happy to answer questions, offer practical tips and help you get the most from each dive, in a relaxed and informal environment.
If you're looking for pristine diving, exceptional photographic subjects and the company of fellow underwater photography enthusiasts, this Milne Bay expedition promises an unforgettable adventure.
