Palau offers exciting diving – and our trip is timed perfectly to witness one of the underwater world’s most exciting events: the new moon bumphead parrotfish spawning event. Expect exciting drift dives, close encounters with sharks and mantas, WWII wrecks and swim through stunning blue holes and caves.

8 nights at Palasia Hotel in a Downtown View Room with air con, ensuite, wifi and breakfast included.

Diving with Fish'nFins

6 days diving with Fish'nFins, with 2 guided boat dives per day including lunch

Free Nitrox

Free Nitrox for Nitrox Certified divers (if you are not certified ask about a Nitrox course!)

Bumphead Spawning

1 spawning dive included in the dive package (note you must have logged at least 50 dives and be Nitrox certified for this dive)

Transfers

All airport to hotel and hotel to dive centre transfers are included

Return flights with Qantas Economy Class Fare with 30 Kg included checked baggage

Koror dive permit USD 50 pp (valid for 5 days only, ie. two required), tipping, gear hire, personal purchases; if required Peleliu dive permit USD 60 pp

Day 1 Arrive in Palau

The Palau Pledge

Our departure from Perth is late Friday with an overnight flight via Brisbane:

FR/SA 07 AUG 22:40 05:00 QF 942 Perth - Brisbane

SAT 08 AUG 10:20 15:20 QF 165 Brisbane - Koror

On arrival, after signing your Palau Pledge to respect Palau's environment, we will be met by a driver from Palasia Hotel for our transfer to the Palasia hotel.

Days 2-7 Diving Palau

Dive Palau's best dive sites with Fish'nFins

Explore Palau's diverse diving - from WWII wrecks to pelagic action and exciting drift dives. Each day includes a pick up from the hotel, a double dive with surface interval snacks and drop back to the hotel.

Bumphead Spawning Event

Witness 100s of Bumpheads in a mating frenzy!

On one of the days you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch as 100s of bumphead parrotfish gather to spawn. Note you must have logged at least 50 dives and be Nitrox certified for this dive. You can join a regular dive if you prefer.

Day 8 Explore Palau

Take a topside tour to explore Palau's local culture or countryside

There are several day tours available to explore Palau, from ancient monuments to WWII relics and the rich Palauan culture, as well as kayak tours, and historical WWII tours.
